The 2004 Peugeot 106 GTi (Phase II) is a hot hatch manufactured by Peugeot from 1996 to 2003 for the European market. The GTi was the top of the line model of the 106 supermini lineup and available with a 1.6 litre DOHC engine producing 118 bhp. The 106 appears in Asian and European releases of Need for Speed: Underground 2 and can be selected as a starter car in the career mode. Due to a low weight and short wheelbase, the 106 is a very nimble car that can take corners with little speed losses
