This makes it water-repellent, and it can be worn not only as an extra layer of warmth under another hardshell jacket but also solo. Cold-sensitive parts of the upper body are warmed by thick synthetic fibre insulation. On the other hand, a mesh-like filling is used in areas that sweat a lot: it scores with air-permeable perforations so that vapour and moisture are quickly wicked away. Under the arms, thin stretch inserts provide more freedom of movement - they also score with an airy, laser-cut perforation.</p><p>The spacious front pockets have double functionality: they are backed with mesh and offer an extra ventilation option when open.
